Our Principles for Dating
We emphasize biblical principles for relationships, focusing on:

  • Spiritual Alignment: Building relationships with shared Apostolic values and a commitment to God.
  • Purity: Honoring God in your actions and intentions as you navigate the journey of dating.
  • Accountability: Involving spiritual mentors and maintaining a strong connection to the church community.
  • God’s Timing: Trusting God’s plan and allowing Him to guide you in finding the right person.

Is God Happy with Your Relationship?
One way to know if God is pleased with your relationship is by examining the voices of godly influence in your life. If your pastor and their pastor are happy and pleased with the relationship, if your godly family and their godly family support it, and if your godly friends and their godly friends are encouraged by it, you can rest assured that God is pleased with the relationship.

You may feel some discomfort about moving forward to the next step in your relationship, but this feeling is not necessarily God showing you it’s not His will. Often, this is a God-given prompting to ensure that you have your ducks in a row before you move into marriage. Stepping into the unknown and unfamiliar is always uncomfortable, even when the situation is perfectly aligned with God’s will. Trust Him, seek wise counsel, and move forward with prayerful confidence.
